The flames on my stove top will intermittently flare up. And the oven burner flames will sometimes do the same time. This is very sporadic. Otherwise the unit works fine. It was suggested that the regulator (pressure valve) was probably going. Do you agree?

The burners on my stove work but the oven does not. You cannot hear or smell gas when the oven is turned on. I already replaced the igniter just in case but that did not solve the problem.

Not sure if this is the right part that i need. the problem is..when the oven or any of the 4 burners there is a loud humming/or what seems like a low grinding noise. eventually, when the top burners are turned down to low/simmer and then back up to high the noise disappears or is reduced. The same problem obtains to the oven. Can it be the regulator?
