Washer is overflowing on a full load but not a half load. I ran test t06 and on the last step it kept filling. I wasn’t sure when I should intervene and stop the test. I waited until water started leaking out into the pan and I eventually I did stop the test. Does this sound like a pressure switch problem?

Answer Hello Sandy. It sounds like the pressure switch or the pressure hose is bad. Make sure the air dome on the side of the unit is not clogged.

My washer has a small amount of water in it. Would that trigger the water level switch not to allow water in the washer?

Answer Hello Rick. Only if the water is enough to pop the diaphragm inside the switch and cut the switch off. Try draining the water and see if the unit then fills.

No matter what size load, the machine attempts many times to spin up to full speed. The drum begins to wobble (not violently) but then slows and the spin cycle resets and starts over again. This can happen over and over again before the spin is successful. Is there a sensor which might be giving a bad signal, or is there a suspension system that is allowing the drum to wobble too much?

Answer Hello Jack, It could be a suspension issue or it could be a bad control board WH12X10468. You should check unit by running a drain and spin cycle and observe if it spins at full speed. If it continues to do the same thing then you would need to replace the control board. The control board tells the unit at what speed to spin and if with empty load the unit is still sensing a unbalanced load then the control is faulty.

Error codes 22 and 23. The washer seems to have a problem in hot mode. I cleaned out the hot hose and the inlet valve screen which seems to have helped, but still have problem. Went into test mode for error 23 and the water did not stop at the intervals the instructions said it should. It simply filled all the way up. Is this confirmation the Water Level Control Valve is failing? If so is part WH12X10522 the correct part?

Answer Hello Chris, Based on the information provided you will need to replaced the pressure switch WH12X10522. The t06, t07 and t08 will allow the unit to test the fill. With what has already been done the pressure switch is faulty.

Washer is over filling. I have replaced pressure switch and checked hose (ok), replaced control board nothing helped.

Answer Louie, try replacing the water inlet valve WH13X10023. A simple way to test to see if the valve is bad is to run the washer and unplug it, if it continues to fill with water the valve is bad. Hope this helps, thanks!
