Two of the four lights on the hood are not working - have replace the obvious bulbs, etc. It is the lights on the right side of the hood - the two lights on the left are functioning normally. We thought it may be the Triac but in reading boards here now wondering if it's the circuit board? Ideas?
Answer Hello Stephanie,
You should check for power to the light sockets. This is most likely a problem with the board or the harness. The output, (120Vac), from the board will tell on the issue. This reading should be present at the CN4 and CN5 terminals on the board. If unplugging the harness from the connection makes the reading normal, make sure the harness and/or one of the sockets are not shorted. If so, repair the problem. If not, replace the board.
The hood fan and lights all worked fine yesterday....today nothing works? What should we check? Wedding check the breaker
You will want to access the control board and check to see if there is 120 vac on the CN 3 connector of the control board. If there is power there but no power to the lights or the fan then you would need to replace the main control board WB27X10553.
