Recs Dsply 4btn Wh Ht part number: AP3851198 doesn't work. I changed mother board, but problem is same. Can you explain what wrong? Thanks.
Answer Hi. Use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Find the J4 connector at the main board. Verify at the new board that you have +13 vdc on the red wire to the black (common) wire to the board. Make sure you have it at the fountain board as well. Turn off the unit. Unplug the unit. Remove the freezer top hinge cover. Inspect the electrical connector to see if the male / female pins are burnt open. Use the same size wire to jump the bad connections. Make sure the freezer light part # 60A works. Remove the freezer door switch part # WR23X10179 to jump the brown and the red wires there and send power to the fountain control part # WR55X10446. Verify if the fountain control part # WR55X10446 wires are on the board. Thank You.
Ice maker working, water at bottom of freezer door connection, no water at door dispenser. I am assuming the line is frozen right by the dispenser as I can shove a thin wire all the way up the tube. Is this a possibility, and if so what is the best way to thaw it out?
Answer Hello Glen. You can use a hair dryer moving it at all times up and down the door to heat and thaw the line. You can also, remove the food and leave the unit unplugged for about 6 to 8 hours with the doors open and thaw the line in the door. You need to be careful if you use the hair dryer and not melt the liner in the door.
