The oven takes at least a 1/2 hour to get to 350 and some times never gets to 450. I took the oven bottom out to see the burner and turn on the oven and the burner will lite and then go out continuity. I get no steady burn on the burner at any time. Is it the gas regulator?

Top burners typically take 50-85 seconds to light. (For all burners at once or only one burner.) Ignitors work fine. Gas Co. came out today and said the gas pressure is fine and they think it's the stove's regulator. Turn the stove off and the burners will relight instantly but leave it off for 1/2 hour or so and expect about a 30-40 sec delay. Leave it overnight and get an 85 sec delay. Stove is about 12 years old in a mobile home (natural gas) and only gets used 2-3 months/year. Problem has been happening for at least 2 years. Repairman came out a week ago, cleaned up the burners and said "See, it's fixed" and left. But there was no change nor improvement after 1/2 hour.

Oven gas doesn't work but the top burners work. Is it the safety valve or the regulator?

I am confused on which way the plastic pin should face for natural gas. It says nat on one end and LP on the other but should nat be pushed into the cap or nat be sticking out of the cap?
