I replaced this part about 5 years ago. Now the oven is again not lighting. The pilot is lit, and the flame enlarges when I turn on the gas. The tip of the thermocouple is in the flame. But the burner does not ignite. However, if I hold a candle flame beneath the thermocouple, then the safety valve will open and the gas burner will light. When I take the candle away, the gas will shut off again. I don't know much about thermocouples, but it would seem that this one is still working to some degree. Is it not aligned to the flame? Is the flame not large enough to heat the thermocouple sufficiently? Or is the thermocouple just bad, and this is normal behavior for a bad thermocouple?

Hi, I tried to remove the thermal coupler from the safety valve and the copper wire broke, also little droplets of what appears to be mercury fell out, is this one unit with the thermal coupler attached to the safety valve, or can this be removed without replacing the safety valve and thermal coupler both. thanks

Hi, I recently bought AP2624873 (WB53K5) Bottom oven part for my oven because it cracked. The flame which comes from the bottom caused it to crack. Can you suggest what I need to lower the flame which shoots up to the oven

I replaced the thermostat WB20K2 but cannot light the pilot light for the oven. It acts like there is no gas going to the pilot to be able to light it. Not sure what to do next.
