How does the clip attach to the compressor starter?

Answer Hello Marla. The clip WR02X12561 attaches to the side of the compressor. You will need to hook the bottom end in the hole under the starter on the compressor base and hook the top hook in the hole in the rail above the starter. Hope this helps.
