The glass on the cooktop has been shattered by my tenants. Other than the glass, is there another part(s) needed? How are the burner drip pans attached to the glass?
Is this something a fairly handy person can do themselves?
Sally (who has installed toilets, blinds, etc. :-))
Answer Hello Sally. You should just need the cooktop. You can check the seals under the pans. You need to remove the burners to remove the drip pans. These are not easy to replace, but if you take your time, you should be able to replace it. Make sure gas and power are turned off before you start the repair.
