I think some liquid got under the knob of the hig btu burner. The buzzer started going off and the igniter would not turn off then a large spark of fire came out of the regulator apart under the knob. Can this be repaired The part under the knob (that the knob controls) is burned partially
This issue sounds like it would be caused by a shorted ignition switch. The ignition switch part number is WB18T10387. This can be changed by lifting the unit out of the cabinet and removing the screws from the perimeter that hold it to the base. You would want to remove the burners and knobs and lift the main top. Make sure that the power has been removed from the unit and change the switches.
