The right hand door (refrigerator side) flops all the way open with a hard jar once you open the door to a certain point and release it. I remember replacing some sort of riser cam/hinge piece years ago, but don't remember the exact part description or part #. Your help would make my day.

I need WR02X7491 shim riser cam. It says the GE part will not work. Where can I locate the proper one?

Refrigerator door not closing by itself, and we found some broken plastic parts on the floor. After reading through the posts, I am a little confused as to what I need to fix the problem. I know I at least need the CAM RISER , AP2059426, but what about the two (2) SHIM CAMS, AP2059404 and AP259405? How about stuff for the top hinge? I got the part names and numbers from your diagram, so if they are not correct, please give me the correct information. Thank you, Bob

Latest Questions

My GE side by side freezer door does not close on its own. When closing by hand it also offers some resistance. I found some broken plastic half circles or rings around the bottom hinge pin. I replaced the lower hinge but still encounter the same problem. I think there may be another plastic part that attaches to the door that rides on the plastic cam that was riveted on the new hinge. I can't seem to verify this by the diagram. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Pieces of what looks like a washer came out of the fresh food door at the bottom. Do I need a "shim cam" part #AP2059405 to replace it? Will there be a problem if I don't replace it. It seems to be working just fine now?

Door won't close all the way and stay closed. I have installed a new seal which it needed wondering if it needs new hinge cam or hinge cam riser.
