Something sparked and the microwave stopped. I thought something happened inside. No problem there but would not work. My husband flipped the breaker and it came back on. I hit the 4 key again and it operated for 3 seconds and quit for good. Could this be a blown fuse or is it more likely a bad key pad?

I replaced a new smart board in my microwave. The 1st problem was the microwave worked great, but we had no display clock. Now the display says "press clock" and the touch pads wont work so we cannot even use the microwave.

Code F3 came up on our GE microwave, indicating that the control board may be defective. Can the Smart control board, WB27X10873, for the GE JVM3670BF06 microwave be installed without taking down the microwave oven - which is attached to the cabinet over the range ? If so, please consult the GE Service Manual and let me know how do I get the touch tone pad out, to get to the control board - which is behind the pad ? The touch tone pad is inside a large plastic piece on the right hand side of the JVM3670 , that extends up the entire height of the oven, and I need to know- if the oven doesn't have to be taken down, how does one get the touch pad ( with the control board) out. Do you pry it out, or is there a screw that is holding it somewhere to the oven? In sum, this model's touch tone pad doesn't lift up and out, for the plastic piece extends the entire height of the microwave on the right hand side. Appreciate your help and assistance, so I know how to take out the old control board, and replace it with a new one.

Micro runs when door is closed. Changed both sec door switches. Still runs. If I pull down on the handle, it stops. Will change door monitor switch. If that does not work, could there be another issue. Could it be a smart broad issue. Thinking the unit stops running when I pull down on the handle, I ASSUMED it to be a door switch issue..your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

I have a GE Profile Spacemaker XL1800, model # JVM1870SK03. While operating the microwave the unit created a light flash underneath and loud pop sound, then stopped working. It appears that the control panel is working fine but now the turn table does not turn and the microwave lights do not work. I replaced the turn table motor, however the turn table still will not turn. Is it possible that the main control board/Smart board is the problem and if so, is this something that a DIYer can fix? Are there any video tutorials showing how to access and replace the board? Thanks, MR

Fan came on on its own can't turn off. The fan speed can be switched between med and hi but not off. The fan boost also works.
