How do we reach the lamp assy to replace the bulb and do we have to have the unit out of the cabinet to reach the socket assy to change the bulb?

Answer Hello Lloyd. Yes, you will need to uninstall the unit and remove the outer cover to access the lamp socket WB8X5096 and replace the bulb. Hope this helps.
