My hot point stove works fine but oven just quit working. Model # RGB508PEA1WH
Daniel K.
Answer Hello Daniel. Check and see if the igniter is glowing in the unit. If it is not, you will need to test for power to the igniter and replace it if it is bad. If it does glow, then Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
The oven burner lights but oven will not get hotter than 350 degrees. What may be the problem? Thanks Mike

Answer Hello Mike. Test the sensor. If it is good, Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. If I can not hear the gas coming into the unit and not igniting what part could it be?
Raj for Model Number JGBC20WEW2WW
Answer Hello Raj. If none of the burners are working, you may have an issue with the pressure regulator or the gas supply to the unit. You will need to check the pressure.
