What is location of spriral pin? Does it insert in the solenoid plunger?

What is correct assembly location for Spiral pin? What appeared to be Spiral pin was loose inside assembly. Does it insert in the plastic only or through the solenoid plunger as well?

Answer Tim, Both the "spiral pin, and the roll pin, need to be inserted through the plastic and the metal and plastic plungers. It's easiest to use a pair of "needle nose" pliers and xcarefully "push" the pin through the assembly as far as possible. Good Luck
