Answer John, If the unit is not coming out of the defrost cycle and the light is blinking when in defrost then you would most likely need a new defrost timer.

Answer John, If the dispenser lever is not being depressed and water is coming from the dispenser continuously then you will want to check for power at the water valve to see if it is getting 120 vac. If the valve is getting power then more than likely the control board would be at fault. If the water is running and you disconnect the connector and it stops then it is electrical. If it does not stop then it is the valve.

Answer John, The only way to make sure that no water can go to the dispenser is to remove the wire connector from the water valve for the dispenser. The lines will still have water to it but that is the only thing that can be done so that dispenser cannot be used other than ice.

Answer Hello John. You have to disassemble the freezer door from the inside, which would require removing the door from the unit to gain access to the dispenser insides. This is a job to do so make notes on the disassembly for reassembly. You need to remove the inner door line and insulation on the unit.

Answer Hello John. The switches are located inside the dispenser assembly. The water valve is located on the back of the unit where the supply line connects to it.

Answer Hello John. Check and make sure none of the switches are not sticking on the unit. If not, and the water continues to flow out, you will need to order and replace the water valve on the unit.
