Answer Sharon, There are a couple of possibilities, A model number would be a great help. But, a quick check is to start the washer and during the fill portion, unplug the power cord, if the water stops flowing, you'll need to check the water level switch and air tube, or the timer. If the water continues to flow when the cord is unplugged, you'll need to replace the fill valve. You're most likely going to find you have a faulty timer, based on your post information
The washer does not switch cycles. Each cycle works but I have to manually switch it.

Answer Hello Tammy. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the timer WH12X10254 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Tim. Check and make sure the connections on the timer plug are good, and none of them are bent. If so, you will want to check the pressure switch WH12X10065 if the unit agitates without water. If it is bad, it will cause the washer to do this. Blow through the pressure hose and make sure it is not clogged. Hope this helps.
