Just got a new switch for the unit -WB23X10009
Pinouts on new switch do not match the old switch.
Cannot tell which wires go where five wires connected to it.
Old switch does not have wire labels.
Want to hook it up correctly. Is there a wiring diagram available?

Answer Hello Roger. If you look on the back of the old switch and the new switch WB23X10009 the terminals have marking on them. You should see L1, L2, H1, H2, and P. You will wire the new switch the same way the old is wired using those markings. There is no diagram available, but should be one on the cooktop. Hope this helps.
There is no power to my unit. Circuit power is good.

Answer Hi Steve. Is your model # JP389BD1BB?First remove all power to the unit. You may need an authorized factory technician out of your yellow pages. Under your top area of the unit is a plenum box, which on the side is a blower fan. There is a side cover that you need to remove to access the power. Maybe a connection is loose? You will need to verify if you have proper 240vac. From there on the inside cover is pasted the wiring diagram, which you can use to follow the voltage to the infinite switches on top of your control panel of the unit. If you need an infinite switch, then this part # is WB23X10009. Thank you.
