Is it normally closed or normally open? What temperature does it activate at?
Answer Hello Matthew,
The bimetal limit switch is normally closed and opens when the temp reaches too high of temp. The switch will open at temps above 250 degrees. If it does not read continuity then you will have to replace the switch WB24T10118.
How do I access the limit switches on GE JGSP28SEK4SS to replace them?
Answer Hello Ray. If you locate the cooling fan under the cooktop, you will also locate the limit bimetal WB24T10118 in there as well. You will need to remove the cooktop to access the parts.
