Door was stuck. It finally came open & I discovered that the top latch wasn't moving freely. I sprayed a little wd40 on it & the door opens quite well. Now the microwave will not cook. Entering the times either manually or using the speed dials does not work. I hear a faint contact noise when I press the start button, but no action. What parts can I purchase to repair the microwave?
Answer Hello Sharon,
You probably fouled out the door switches for the unit with the WD-40. You should replace all three door switches and while inside the unit, check for other components with the WD-40 on them. We will happily provide part numbers if you could please verify the model number on the units' I.D. tag. The model number you listed does not come up as valid. You can either re-post with the model number or give us a call anytime at 1-877-477-7278 and a representative will look up those numbers for you.
