My washer will not fill. When the lid is closed and the washer is turned on, the agitator runs with no water or clothes in the basket. The machine won't let any water in. It works fine if filled manually. Is the water level switch gone or is the board bad?

I have an overfill problem. Its like no matter what size load I am doing or what water level I have it on it just keeps filling and filling and then of coarse it overflows the basket.

When I start a wash, it will fill up for few minutes, then shut off. Once it turns itself off, the washer drains. I can sometimes babysit the washer and it will go through a complete cycle. It does not matter what load type meaning what water level I have it on. If I unplug it and let it rest it may go through a complete cycle without a problem.

Latest Questions

When starting a load the hot water starts to run and stops after 3 or 4 seconds and it remains cold for the entire fill. I have changed out the control board and the solinoid water valves. Is there some other component that can cause this? The machine is about five yers old. does the incoming water pressure have any effect?

I have a water leaking problem. Water leaks from the over fill tube. I suppose when we have large loads. I replaced the gasket(WH1X2729). Is there something else I should do or replace? Should I clean the box on the side of the tub (pressure switch level sensor) if so how do I remove it?
