The washer tub only fills half full with water even when the load switch is on super or extra large. I have to add water manually to get my cloth clean. How can I get the tub to full fill with water? Is the an adjusrment I can make to the pressure switch.

My name is Mary and I need some help! We bought our washer and dryer 2 years ago and now its messed up. When we turn it on to fill up it fills, but that's it. It doesn't agitate or spin so therefor it is not washing either. I replaced the lid switch yesterday and turned it back on and slowly but surely it started agitating and spinnin perfectly. So we turn it off and start it again and it doesn't do anything all over again. Any ideas?

Hit the on switch and the pump runs only. Will run even if lid is lifted. Goes off when off switch is pushed. Nothing else works no matter where controls are set. Thanks

Latest Questions

My washing machine was making tons of noise and clunking around recently. It always does this so I regret not going to the machine to make it stop because now the water doesn't stop filling and I can't manually move it to the washing stage. The hoses seem ok so I'm wondering what is broken. Is it worth repairing or is it already time to buy a new machine to replace this one, which is only 3 years old? Thank you.

Everything was working fine before my brother moved down, now that he's moved, his washer has low pressure due to old pipes. Any way, the washer isn't filling past the agitator even though it's on a "super" load, and we've already changed out the pressure switch with a brand new one, and the problem is still there. suggestions?
