The cold temperature thermostat is not working. I can not measure power out of the thermostat. The part number say WR09X0599. That part number has been cancelled by the manufacturer. What part should I purchase to replace the bad thermostat part number WR09X0599? Thank you,

My freezer is very cold about 14 degrees. The fresh food section is very warm about 55 degrees. The evap fan is working. The adjustment wheel is stuck on D and wont turn. The fresh food adjustment knob is set to 9 the coldest setting. What should I check to lower the temperature in the fresh food section. This is a side by side refrigerator. Thank you.

On my side by side GE Profile, the fresh food section works fine (around 38F), but the freezer is around 20F with the temp control turned to the coldest setting for both sides. I haven't checked the coils yet, but was wondering if that could be either the cold control or the damper. I've also noticed that the ice maker has been making less (and smaller) ice in the last month. Don't know if that's because of the loss of cooling or possibly a leak.

Motor operates a long time. Both fridge and freezer set at 5, now fridge is droping to 28-29. When I turn the temp control down to 1 it shuts off. I now have both set at 3 to keep the temps right. Could this be the temp control? All coils are clean, fans operate, compressor is fine. Thanks Gary
