My dryer wont heat. Drum and motor still spins. I've checked the element and all the sensors. The only item that does not have continuity is this part WE4M275. I dont have any error codes. Should I be able to get a reading on it at room temperature across the leads? If its bad I'm going to order one today.

The machine doesn't turn on. The panel lights up, but machine doesn't start. One of the heating elements was broken and repaired, but this didn't fix the problem. When I push the Start button once, there's one click; I push it again and there's two clicks. How can I fix this? Thanks.

I replaced this thermistor 18 months ago. Believe failure was caused by lint build up on the sensor and on the air rotor vanes. Dryer stopped heating again, so I pulled this pricey piece of plastic and glass. It failed the continuity test -- should it pass? It's cold resitance was 24 K Ohms, heated with hair dryer, it dropped to 15K ohms. From your answers above, it looks like it failed. Right ? No lint build up this time. Should these fail this often, are there other underlying causes ? or is this just how GE ensures profitability ? Thanks for the help... Bob

I took the outlet temp sensor out of my dryer. Going from the model number I found the sensor is your PN AP2619320. The repair sheet inside the unit said it should read ~120 kohm at room temp. Mine measures ~41k. The inlet sensor reads correctly at 120 kohms. Can you help me? Thanks.
