What is the little screw on the back of the thermostat for. The number I gave is a parts number
William for Model Number AP4334008
Answer Hello William,
If you are looking at the screw with a dab of paint on it, it is for factory calibration. If you turn this screw, it is time to replace the thermostat since there is no way to accurately calibrate the thermostat without the special equipment the factory uses for calibration.
Where I can find the wiring diagram for the stove thermostat?
Boris
Answer Hello Boris,
The wiring diagram for the thermostat is found on the tech sheet for the unit by model number. If you cannot find the tech sheet on the unit, you will have to re-post with a model number so we can pull the proper one for you.
I replaced thermostat but the broiler still does not work. The element works if I connect the oven wires that go to the bottom element.
Bruce for Model Number abs300k1bb
Answer Hello Bruce. You will need to look for a burnt or broken wire. Also make sure the thermostat WB20K10026 is connected properly. If so, test and see where your loosing the voltage at. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
