Hi, My GE microwave no longer powers up. The fuse is not blown and I changed it anyway. I did notice that the thermostat, listed as part# wb24x10025 is burnt out and one of the wired connections is burnt stuck to it as well. Would this cause the unit not to power on at all?
Would replacing the thermostat and wire connection allow the unit to power on and work again or could something else have burnt out or shorted? Thank you
Answer Hello Edwin,
Since there are only six or so parts listed for this model number, it is not considered a repairable unit. If you can locate the bad part and test it to prove that it is a bad part, and you can find a part number that will satisfactorily replace the part as per the manufacturer, you can repair it. Unfortunately, we cannot make any recommendations on what parts to order since there are no manufacturers' recommended parts listed.
Morning im looking for a part I think is a thermostat part number on it is 10 y KSD-150LC on the top it says AC250V/10A AC120V/15A.
Answer Hello Lorenzo! Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer electrical parts for your model WES1450DN1BB. Sorry about that!
