The washing machine will fill up, but will not start the cycle. I can move the knob to rinse and spin and they work fine.
You will want to check to make sure that when the unit goes to agitate that the motor is getting power. If the motor is getting power but not turning on then the motor is faulty and would need to be replaced. If the motor is not getting power then you will want to check the timer for sending power.
Can't get the timers knob off. Can you give me some ideas how to get it off to be able to replace it?
Answer Hello Jim. There is a clip on the back of the timer WH12X10164. You will hold this clip and pull out on the timer knob at the same time to remove the knob. The timer knob must be pressed in before holding the clip and removing the knob. Hope this helps.
