Washer will fill. Does not agitate. Timer has quit advancing. Time has been noisy, pulsating hum. You can hear the realy click when open/close lid. Drains and spins without issue. I suspect a timer, is there more possible underlying issues?

Washer will not go into high speed spin cycle. Light on motor blinks 4 times indicating a mode shift solenoid, I replaced mode shift shaft assembly and still not working. Replaced motor as directed by Mfg. instructions, still not working. Could it possibly be the washer timer?

I thought the large, outer knob on my WBSR3000G1WS was stripped. The outer knob no longer "catches" to allow selection of a cycle. We have to turn the outer ring to select anything. I took the knob off and realized that the tip of the spindle (where the outer knob attaches) was spinning freely. This isn't normal, is it? Do I have to buy the whole timer assembly, or is it something else?

Latest Questions

I am replacing the timer knob as it has stripped out. I have another issue as well. The timer was replaced on this washer but I think they put in the wrong timer. I think the one was installed that goes to the other GE Super Capacity washer that has the soak cycles. Is this possible? It's very frustrating trying to guess which spot to set it to so that I can get an full wash and rinse cycle.

Washer will not agitate or spin. Drain pump works. Motor hums but will not turn drum. Cannot turn agitator by hand.

The washer starts washing while filling up and when draining. I replaced the timer. Now what could be my problem?
