The terminals are lettered different than my original timer. I need to know how to wire the new timer based off my model please.
Answer Hello Troy,
It appears that you have the wrong timer for your units' model number. I looked it up and you should have timer WE4M527. The timer you have now is not compatible with that model.
Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
Replaced knob on dryer/worked for a while/now dryer just buzzes when I turn it on, dryer/doesnt work at all. Whats the problem. Just order parts from you for dryer. DARN/shipping& handling is breaking me.Thank you .
If the dryer is just buzzing when you start it, then you will want to check to see if the motor is what is making the buzzing noise. It is possible that the motor could be making the noise and could be a seized drum bearing or the drum is hung up not allowing it to turn. Also could be a faulty motor start winding which would make a buzzing noise when you try to start.
