Most Interesting

The description says "knob assembly" but the picture is just the knob. Does this price include the mechanism underneath the knob? I have a hard time understanding this price for just the plastic knob by itself.

Hello, The knobs on this cooktop go out very quickly within 2 years. This is because of the plastic shaft that melts don because of the heat from the cooktop. Is there an alternative part that is built more sturdier than these? These knobs are not inexpensive. For the the price they should at least last 5 years if not more

I have changed 10 knobs in 3 years - that's the price of a range. Are there any alternatives?

Latest Questions

All five of the knobs on this cooktop are broken. Not a surprise when using a plastic shaft near high-btu flame. I am not willing to pay GE's price to replace the knobs, especially since I know it will happen again. Are there any other OEM parts that will fit this model? Thanks.

Original stove top knobs had platic fittings and have broken. Have they made more durable ones or are you simply replacing with the same plastic fitting under the chrome top? The heat melts the plactic and is unsatifactory.
