So, I asked the following question in August (as you can see), and ordered the touchscreen before getting the response. We installed it, and the oven DOES work, but not reliably... like it will work for a portion of the cooking time, then shut off (as if maybe it's overheating or something?) The display will come back on with clock flashing after the oven has cooled down a bit. Do I need the clock assembly like you previously mentioned, or could something else be malfunctioning? 1) I think I've narrowed down what I need to order, but the part looks to be an inch or so wider than what I have now on my oven. 2) The oven light operates when I open the door, but there are no lights illuminated at all on the touch pad -- it is completely inoperative. I think I need to acquire the "Touch Pad and Control Assembly" to fix this issue. Do you agree? Mindy for Model Number GE JT91080A1SS ANSWER Mindy, Not really, If there is no display on the Clock / ERC WB27T10219 then that's where the issue is. Not the control panel keypad assembly. Not yet anyway. Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 05, 2013

The oven light has turned on but the buttons are unresponsive. The start and the clear button beep when pressed none of the other ones work. The clock continues to work. I have shut it down at the breaker to see if it resets but no luck. Also there are no error codes being displayed. Any idea is wrong? What part to replace? Really do not want to spend over $1K on a new oven.

Latest Questions

I am getting an F7 error on my oven, I believe this to indicate an issue with either the touch panel or the control board. I am looking into ordering this part to replace the touch panel. Does anyone have instructions on how to replace this? How is the existing touch panel removed? are there screws underneath the panel somewhere?
