Good Afternoon ,
I,ve , had this washer for about 5 years. I just got the triple water valve. It,s been in my basement. Dry for all 5 years. Well my Husband put the valve on. No cold water will go in to the washer. Hot goes in fine. So I,m filling the washer by the hoses. Could something else be wrong. The washer works great.

You will want to test at the cold water valve for 120vac when calling for water. If there is no power getting to the valve then you would want to check your temp control switch to make sure that when set for cold operation that the switch reads closed. If not then replace the switch. If switch is good then you will want to double check wiring and if wiring is ok then timer would be at fault.
If water is leaking into the drum when the washer is off, could this be the faulty part, or could it be another part?

Answer Hello Jay. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the water valve WH13X10027 is leaking into the drum assembly. Be sure and check and make sure the drain hose is not siphoning back into the machine. Hope this helps.
