When I select the cycle and then press start the water starts flowing with in 2 second the display show (there is something wrong with this unit). Any ideas?
Answer Hi. Remove the water supply hoses and see if they have full water pressure in a bucket. Clean the water valve part # WH13X10017 inlet screen (cold water) to see if it is clogged. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Which codes do you see? Thank You.
Washer starts to fill with water, then stops. Error message on screen says notice a problem has been detected with this unit.
Answer Hi. The unit that fills and does not wash is most times a lid switch part # WH12X10244 issue. Disconnect the lid switch and use a insulated jumper wire to insert into the machines wire harness and see if it washes now. If not then go tho the pressure switch part # WH12X10247 and do the same. Use the same size hose to connect in place of the pressure switch hose. With the washer filled in low wash level disconnect the pressure switch hose and place it above the tub level secured so it does not fall and leak. Then place the hose you have onto the pressure switch and blow into it. Make sure the washer lid is closed and wash cycle awaiting the wash. If the motor starts now then replace the pressure switch. If not then remove the front panel and see what the green led flashes are on top of the motor. Fault codes. Thank You.
