Answer Hello Tommy. It should not affect the operation as this is the passage for the valve. If it does not work, you can always reverse the lines, but either way should be fine as long as they are filter lines.

Answer David, As far as making sure the right connector is on the right solenoid it does matter. If you do not put them back on properly the ice and water will not work and you may have water coming out when the dispenser is calling for water out of the icemaker. Your Yellow and orange connection wil go to the single valve, the blue and orange to the water valve and other to the icemaker.

Answer Hello David. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Answer Hello Thomas, This unit incorporates the use of 2 separate water valves, one is a single solenoid valve and the other is a dual valve. If you need the single water valve then you would need part number WR57X10007. You could also get the water valve kit WR49X10043 which has both sets of valves with it.

Answer Hello Jeff, You need to turn the water off to the unit until you can troubleshoot for the leak. If it is a water line leaking, this can normally be corrected by cutting the leaking part off and reconnecting the line to the unit. If it is the water valve, which also not uncommon, the valve WR57X10026 will require replacement.

Answer Hello Joe, I would put a test meter on the wires to the water valve and see if at any point in the ice makers cycle, if 120Vac is going to the water valve. If it is, check for ice in the fill tube. If there is no ice build-up in the fill tube, replace the water inlet valve WR57X10026.
