Answer Mrs. Johnson, Yes the both the filter plate and the micro mesh filter can be removed and cleaned 6-914124 and 99001791, You will need to remove the lower rack and unscrew the wash arm cap and remove the nozzle ( make sure you install the nozzle back the same way when you reinstall). Lift the spray arm and guard plate off the spray arm support, and remove the 1/4 inch hex head screws holding the filter plate to the pump housing, and lift the plate off the assembly. Do Not loose the plastic ring(s) that attach to the spray arm support under the plate. Remove the micro mesh filter and soak both components in hot water and White Vinegar, A soft scrub brush can be used to clear any heavy deposits, but be careful don't damage the filter area. Answer Hello Chuck! You will need to remove the lower wash arm to gain access to the secondary filter assembly. Once the wash arm is removed you will pull up on the filter guard. The secondary filter will have screws that will need to be removed to lift up. Hope this information helps you, thanks!

Answer Hello Mark. If the secondary filter 6-914124 is clogged, and not allowing water to pass through, you will need to replace it. If water passes through it and it is not clogged, it should be ok. Hope this helps.
