The rotary gear on the back of my Ice bucket sheared in half. Does LG not make the gear part? Will I have to buy the Ice Bucket just to replace one part that releases the ice cubes into the chute? Thanks.

The ice continually melts a little in the bucket and forms an obstruction near the bottom and will not dispense properly. We have to tap the bucket a couple of times a day to break up the ice in the bucket for it to dispense properly. What could be the problem? Thank you for all you help.
