We crack the drain filter when opening it and now it's leaking. Is it the good part? Thanks.

Answer Hello Marie-Claude! For the drain filter you will need to use part number 383EER2001A. For the casing you will use part number 3108ER1001B. Thanks!
I have an DE and the water is not draining...I checked the hose and filter and both seem clear. Lots of water drains out of hose so wouldn't that mean that there is no clog...or is there another place that something could be hung up or is more than likely the drain pump. Is there a diagram or directions for taking off the front panel to get to the drain pump assembly and do you have to replace the casing as well. Also how do you make sure it's level?? Thank you kindly

Answer Alana, Are you sure it's not a "OE" error code, that would indicate a drain issue, the "DE" error indicates a door lock issue. To access the pump, you will need to remove : The washer top, Unscrew 2 screws on the back of the top plate.Pull the top plate backward and upward. The control panel, Disconnect the Display PWB Assembly connector from Trans cable. Pull out the drawer and unscrew 2 screws.Lift the left side of the Control Panel Assembly and pull it out.Unscrew the 9 screws from the Control Panel Assembly. The front panel, Unscrew the 4 screws from upper of the canbinet cover. Unscrew the screw from filter cover.Put a flat ( - ) screwdriver or putty knife into the both
sides of the filter cover, and pull it out.Unscrew the screw from the lower side of the cabinet cover.Open the door. Disassemble the clamp assembly.Tilt the cabinet cover. Disconnect the door switch connector. Lift and separate the cabinet cover. The pump, Separate the pump hose, the bellows and the circulation hose assembly from the pump assembly. Disassemble the pump assembly by removing the screws in the front frame panel." Thanks
Cycle runs, but does not drain.

Answer Hello Sheila. Test and see if there is power coming to the drain pump. If so, and the pump and drain hose are not clogged, you will need to replace the drain pump 4681EA2001T. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
