I have an LG fridge # LRBC22522ST The freezer is cold and the fridge is not. I check the evap fan in the freezer compartment and it does not turn on. I check the fan with an ohm meter and it has resistance. Then I checked wiring harness to the fan and its not getting any volts. I was told to change the defrost timer. Does this sound right? I was told its part# 6615jb2005c which is a sensor/fuse

The freezer seems to be defrosting to long. I was told this refrigerator has a defrost sensor and it needs replacing. Does it have a sensor or just a defrost thermostat? The seals are good.

Latest Questions

For the defrost thermostat, there are 2 orange wires (which I assume is the defrost thermistor) and a red and brown wires (which is a fuse of sorts). When I connect an multi-meter to the 2 orange wires (the thermistor), I would've expected the Resistance to DECREASE as the temperature INCEASED, however, in my case the opposite it true. How is this possible?
