My 6 year old LG washer, model WM2501HVA is having spin issues. Let me begin by saying I have received NO ERROR CODES. I recently changed the rotor, due to the all too common spline tooth failure, but after reassembly, the washer wont go into full spin. My next step was to change the RPS (HALL) sensor. No improvement, performance is the same. Sometimes, during spin, it shudders and makes a grinding noise, other times it will spin free, appear to try to balance over and over again. Sometimes it will go into a quiet spin, but you can hear it stepping down and picking up repeatedly, but it won't go into high spin. The pump operates, and the drum empties. The filter and drain hose are clean. So, my question: Do I replace the stator or the control board next?

I've had great luck with you in the past. My LG washer (Model Number WM0642HW) keeps giving me an LE code. Various LG sources say it has something to do with the Motor Overload. I'm simply not sure what part to replace to correct the problem? Thanks

Latest Questions

Washing machine started showing LE error code. I replaced the rotor position sensor switch and that fixed it for around a month and then showed the LE code again. I replaced it with another new sensor switch and it worked again for about a month before showing the LE code again. Wires don't look broken. I discovered if I took off the Drive motor stator assembly completely and reinstalled it that the machine would work again for a few cycles. Have done this about 6 times and now it doesn't work anymore and shows LE code.
