My Repair & Advice
The oven was taking a very long time to heat to temperature and most of the time it would not exceed 260 degrees F. I measured the resistance of the lower bake element. It measured open. I wasn't sure what it should measure, the other upper elements measured about 80 ohms when disconnected from the wiring. I ordered a new lower element and to my shock it arrived the next day. I measured the resistance of the element before installing it and it measured 16.5 ohms. I installed the new element and the problem was solved. There was a bit of confusion on my part originally diagnosing the problem until I realized that the upper and lower elements are not on at the same time. The upper and lower elements cycle off and on at some predetermined interval until the oven reaches the set temperature.
