What kind of feeler arm does this model have and where is it?
This icemaker unit AEQ73110205 does not incorporate a feeler arm. This unit uses optics to keep the icemaker from over filling. The arms that are below the icemaker have sensors in them and emit a invisible beam that when the ice gets to a certain level it should shut the icemaking off until it reads that it is low again.
How do I replace the ice maker part #AEQ73110205
You will need to remove the ice bin from the unit. Under the ice bin there are 2 screw and in the middle of the door there is a screw and then one or 2 at the top above the icemaker. Remove all of these screws and remove the complete assembly. Once the entire ice compartment assembly is off, lay on towel and remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the icemaker, one on each side and one screw that is under where the water would come in at. Once this is done you can remove the old icemaker and install the new one in reverse.
