When I start up my washing machine, it manages to start pouring water in. It only poured water in for maybe 5 seconds and then immediately shuts off giving me a CE error code. Since it is only 5 seconds, the rotor doesn't even have time to start to turn cycle. We did smell a bit of plastic smell not long before it broke down on us. I have took apart the machine, checked the motherboard for any signs of short circuiting or burns and there is none. I cannot find that any wires are fried as well and there are no visible leaks whatsoever. I have taken off the rotor and the stator and everything looked good as new. The barrel also turns very easily by hand and there is no obstruction. My only guess is that the motherboard maybe fried? What could be throwing this CE error code?

Washer won't start no lights on front display board. How to determine if main control bd or the display bd is at fault?.Power is available, noise filter is ok.Does the main control bd have a pilot light in middle that lights up when unit is working? If it does mine is out. Your response would be appreciated.

Latest Questions

I am getting the LE code on my Washer and just had a repair man come out and he changed out part number 4413EA1002B. It worked fine when he left but I am getting the LE code again. Now he says the main board needs to be replaced. Every thing I have read the hall sensor needs replaced. Can you tell me if the board has anything to do with the LE code. Washer seems to work just won't go into spin cycle. Any help would be appreciated.

My LG washer's tub stopped spinning. In Trouble Shooting mode, the drum will move slightly and then shake a little. I measure each winding set of the stator, each combo was about 8.1ohms. Again, with the washer in T/S mode I measured 208V on 2 combos and 0 on the third. I ordered the 6871ER1003C Control Boards (incorrectly listed on this site), but I am getting the same result. Except for one difference. I am only getting 208V on on output combo from the new board.
