Answer Roop, The LE error indicates an issue with the motor, but it may not be a faulty motor. There could be an article stuck or restricting the impeller, chopper blade or wash chambber in the sump.

We have an OE error that comes up after a few minutes and the dishwasher stops. I took the innards apart and there is no debris clogging anything I can see. I replaced the drain hose because it cracked when I pulled the dishwasher out, so I know it isn't clogged. The OE error still comes up. There is a louder than usual noise that sounds like a motor that tries to spin up.... and a humming noise. It used to be very quiet. I would like to fix it, rather than replace the whole unit. Any suggestions?

Answer Hello TonyD. Check the wiring connection. Measure the electric resistance of Drain Motor. (20-40 ) Replace the Drain Motor or repair the Circuit.

The lower spray arm doesn't spin. The upper one works fine. I have disassembled the bottom and nothing seems to be clogged. Any suggestions on what it can be and what to replace if need be. I have read that the this same problem was fixed with replacing the vario motor.

Answer Hello Bobby, YOu will want to make sure that your check valve MJX32862501 is not stuck and is operating properly. The check valve alternates the spray from lower to upper spray arms. If the check valve appears to be ok it is connected to the the diverter motor 4681ED3001D that you would want to replace.

My LG dishwasher will show the famous LE code at the end of the 'quick wash' cycle. I checked the wire harness, seems fine, although I did notice two small slices in two different wires, the wire was not breached, just the plastic. I taped up the spots. The sound dampening foam seem to be fine. I took out the motor. I did see a plastic straw from my babies bottle (about 3 inches long) that did get in down by the blades. Not sure if this was stopping the motor or not. Everything moves freely. No freeze-ups. After putting everything back together. All seems fine. It washes and I hear it drain too. About 15 mins left on the cycle and than the LE code goes off again. I dont think its the motor. Is there a sensor that may be at fault?

Answer Hello Anthony, The fault would not be caused by a sensor. The Fault LE indicates that the motor is working abnormally. You want to check all wiring to make sure it is in good condition. Check the impeller of washing pump for being locked. Check the rotor of the washer motor for being locked and check the blade for being locked. If all this checks ok then you would need to replace the PCB.

Answer Hello Ken. You need a new motor, wiring harness, and the inner door liner for the LE error code to be repaired. A new motor alone will not fix the issue.

Answer Hello Mike. HE is a heating circuit error. Make sure the heater and thermistor are good on the unit and if so, replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
