Hello, It looks that the pump for my washer is broke. The motor still works, but there's a noise coming from the pump when it's on and, obviously, it doesn't evacuate water. The water still goes through the pump, regardless if it's on or off. Please, can you help me locate the right pump for my washer? Many thanks, Victor

Can you confirm that 4681EA2002H recirculating pump replaces 4681EA2001S and will fit on the LG wm3677hw washer/dryer combo? Ours looks like it has the older 4681EA2001S on it currently. The existing part has a plastic cover/shield on it that is not shown in any of the pictures for either part. Do you think that will fit over 4681EA2002H, or is it unnecessary?

I hooked everything up, water no leaks, drain all tight, electric tucked away, in place and all level. Water valves open, I try all the different cycles, yet NO WATER. Do I need a new pump? Is that a simple part swap? I hear the motor humming, yet no water. No kinks in the lines. This unit is about 5 years old, the last 18 months it was in storage in my shed, cold and hot PA.

Latest Questions

I am trying to determine if I need the recirculation motor or the drain pump. I intermittently get a DE error, but seems to drain fine for the most part. Once I had debris in the drain filter, cleaned it and it worked fine. It threw another DE error, checked the filter no debris, drained fine. I hear water draining down the drain. However, I hear a humming like a motor is stuck/froze. I hear it sometimes during the wash cycle, but mostly during the rinse/spin cycle. It has been doing this for a while now. I am wondering if the recirculation motor is what is bad and is what is causing the intermittent DE error. I have seen the repair video for the drain pump motor. I am assuming the recirc motor is on the other side of the assembly and gets replaced in the same manner. Is this correct? What do you suggest?

Washer occasionally will throw an OE error. Hear a humming sound during rinse/spin cycle and sometimes during wash cycle. Humming sounds like a motor is stuck/froze. Have cleaned and checked drain filter. Found debris and cleared it, but still makes humming noise. Doesn't always throw a code. Have not checked hoses yet. Is the circulation motor part of the drain pump motor. So, if i order the drain pump motor does the circulation motor come with it?

Hello. My washer occasionally displays OE message while washing. I've cleaned out filter located at left lower corner and that doesn't seem to help. Also I've noticed that the detergent compartment tends to keep water there after the wash cycle is over. The washer seems to struggle, making a humming sound while rinsing and then the OE message will be displayed. Do I need a new drain pump? What other parts will I need? Please advise
