I was sent a motor assemble AC pump, but it does not fit in the casing that the old part came out of. It seems to be 1/2 - 3/4" too thick to fit in the case. Any suggestions?

at first, after turning on, it ran for a couple of minutes before the trouble code "OE" was displayed. i took the hoses and filter housing out, cleaned them out, and put them back in. now, it turns a couple of times and stiff displays that code. plus, there is a loud humming sound coming from the filter housing. any help?
Joe for Model Number wm2016cw
Answer Joe, The "OE" code for your washer, indicates a Drain Issue. You may have an article jammed in the pump, or restricting the drain system or possibly a bad drain motor winding, 4681EA1007G is a great place to start with the post description you supplied. Good Luck and Thanks
Washer will not drain on spin cycle. Motor works, filter and drain line is clear. Will part k340 fix?
Bill for Model Number WM2016CW
Answer Hello Bill. If there is power to the drain pump motor 4681EA1007G and the motor does not run, you will need to replace the drain pump motor assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
