My start/pause button is not working. How do I replace it and what is the part number ?
Answer Hello MJ. 6871ER2078A is the part number you will need to order and replace on the unit. CONTROL PANEL
1) Remove 9 screws on the display board.
2) Remove 4 screws on the control board.
3) Now disassemble the control panel assembly.
I have power to the outlet but no power bringing on the washer lights when I press the on button. How can I find the problem and how difficult would it be for a homeowner to replace the needed part?
Answer Hello Robert,
This will most likely be the power control board 6871ER1078T. Unplug the unit and remove the main top which is held on by two or three screws across the back. Slide the top back and lift it off. Open the control box and remove one wire and connect it to the new board. Remove the next wire and connect it to the new board. Continue in this manner until all wires have been transferred to the new board. Once complete, re-install the board in the box and re-mount. Re-install the main top and plug unit back in.
