Hi while playing with the service mode press spin and rinse the power went off and I smell somethings burning. Prior to that I have LE error and check the drain strainer found a credit card inside that is hard to pull out. So I remove the front panel to access the drain. After removing the card I try it again the washer wont agitate. When I tried the service mode the water drain, but when I tried the service mode press spin rinse and power, the power went off and smell like something is burning. Which part do you think I need to make this washer work again?
The LE error code is an indication of locked motor error. You will want to do the following:
• The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR
HARNESS is not connected to the connector
(3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY.
• The electric contact between the connectors
(3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS
and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB
ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable.
• The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR
ASSEMBLY and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open
• The hall sensor is out of order/defective.
Hello: Like several others that have written in, I am also having the same issue with part AP4442356. There is what appears to be a part number that is stamped on the PC board itself, and the original number is: 6870EC9203A. The number that is stamped on your Part #AP4442356 is 6870EC92458. There are several plugs that do not seem to fit at all, and the layout of the circuit board parts is significantly different. What ever happened with the others that had the same issue? Thank you
Answer Bob, We could not find any information in regards to wiring or a change in the connector locations on part no. 6871ER1078T, and we have had no responses from the "others who had the same issue". The numbers on the board are usually the board manufacturers part or reference number and has little or nothing to do with the board operation. As noted in a previous post " Some of the connections look like they won't fit, but do when you try them. The first thing I would do is to compare the new board to the old board. If the connectors are the same, you need to try different directions in reference to plugging the connectors onto the board." You may want to use the wiring diagram as a "locator" chart, and verify the connector and component it attaches to are proper.
