I replaced the control board in my LG WM2277HW, S/N #602KWHX05025 washer in January 2013.... Last week, my wife was washing clothes and I heard a loud bam,,,, I later noticed the washer was off and would not power up. I looked at the red LED on the control board and it is not lit. The drum moves freely, but nothing powers up. Did the control board die again? What might cause it premature death?

This is the part number the appliance tech said I needed. However, here and everywhere else I've looked I do not even see reference to a machine with mine's model number WM2177HW --and your widget says this part is not compatible with my machine. Is it? My washer is 9 years old--old enough that everyone has forgotten this model exists? Thanks, Kathy

Hi while playing with the service mode press spin and rinse the power went off and I smell somethings burning. Prior to that I have LE error and check the drain strainer found a credit card inside that is hard to pull out. So I remove the front panel to access the drain. After removing the card I try it again the washer wont agitate. When I tried the service mode the water drain, but when I tried the service mode press spin rinse and power, the power went off and smell like something is burning. Which part do you think I need to make this washer work again?

I had a CE error code on my LG washer so I turned the power off and waited 10 seconds. When I turned the power back on the machine had a PF error code so I turned the power off, unplugged the washer and waited another 10 seconds before turning the power back on the machine. Upon turning the power back on, the washer 'screen' just flashed a light and has been 'dead' since. Should I change the stator, display pcb assembly or main pcb assembly?

Hello: Like several others that have written in, I am also having the same issue with part AP4442356. There is what appears to be a part number that is stamped on the PC board itself, and the original number is: 6870EC9203A. The number that is stamped on your Part #AP4442356 is 6870EC92458. There are several plugs that do not seem to fit at all, and the layout of the circuit board parts is significantly different. What ever happened with the others that had the same issue? Thank you
