So, My washer was not turning on after doing a load of laundry. It would start back up if I unplugged the washer and run fine. I figured that it was a signal getting crossed and I wasn't sure which panel controlled that so I bought Pcb assembly. It fixed the power problem that I had been having, but with the new Pcb assembly the washer will not go into a spin cycle. I put the Pcb assembly into another washer of the same model and it ran perfectly. Though when I put it back into the first washer I ran into the same problem. I thought that maybe it got out of whack while I moved it to fix it, but I put the old Pcb assembly into the washer and while I still have the same power issues as before the washer would run the way it was meant to. Not sure what else to look for do you guys have any ideas??

Answer Hello Katie, You will want to look at the wiring to the pressure switch, door lock, user interface and control board for loose wires that may cause unit to send a bad signal back to the main board telling it the unit is still full of water. Also check drain to make sure that there is nothing clogged which would cause unit to not spin.

Yes

The water for the softener runs during to entire cycle. It actually blew the door open and flooded the room. I changed the water level sensor and then the cold water valve assembly. Still has not fixed the problem. I am assuming that the PCB is not shutting the valve off. What do you think? Thanks, Terry

Answer Hello Terry. If the pressure hose is clear and not clogged, and the valve and switch are new, then you will need to replace the PCB assembly 6871ER1085C. Hope this helps.

Electrical power was shut off durring cycle, when we tried to restart the washer would not turn on. (we have 120volts at outlet)

Rod for Model Number WM0642HW/01

Answer Rod, You will need to remove the top panel of the washer, and check for 120 VAC into the line filter and out to the control board. Here's some help, "1. Unscrew 7 screws on the Rear Frame. 2. Disassemble the Rear Frame.3. Pull the Control panel forward. 4. Disconnect connectors. 5. Unscrew 5 screws. 6. Disassemble the controller assembly. 1. Open the dispenser Lid. 2. Unscrew 4 screws. 3. Disassemble the Lid Assembly. 4. Pull down the Dispenser by pushing hooks. 5. Put a hand into the dispenser hole and hold the top plate. 6. Push backward using an opener and lift the top plate." You can then check for voltage or damage to the linr filter and then up to the control board. Thanks and Good Luck
