Rando for Model Number DLE5977W
Answer Hello Rando, You will want to make sure that the connector is back in and locked in place. A common problem that occurs is the pin that goes into the connector has wings on them that allow them to lock into place and not come out. If it has slid back out a little because it is not locked in place it will cause the error. Double check and if it is locked in then it would be a harness issue.

Will for Model Number dle5977w
Answer Hello Will. The thermistor 6323EL2001B could be bad on the unit and need to be replaced. You will need to test the thermistor on the unit. It should read around 10 ohms. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
