When installing a new rotor assembly for this model is it necessary to put some kind of lubrication on the splines ? Thanks in advance
Answer Hello Bud. No, there is no need for lubrication on them, but you can use a very light coating to help the part slide onto the splines if needed.
I have purchased this assembly 4413ER1003B Washing Machine Rotor Assembly. Now that I have it how easy is it to replace this one for the old?
The rotor assembly is not difficult to replace. You will want to pull the unit out and unplug from power. Remove the cover that is on the back of the unit. You will then remove the bolt holding the rotor in place. When you get the bolt removed you will want to get ahold of the rotor with both hands and pull off. Install the new rotor and reassemble.
