Motor is turning but drum is not, is it a bad rotor assembly?
If the rotor is spinning but the drum is not then the splines on the rotor are bad and the rotor would need to be replaced.
Could this be the reason im getting a LE error code if the splines are stripped?
Answer Hello Edmond,
The LE error code indicates that there is a locked motor error. You will want to check a few things. Check to make sure motor harness connector is connected to the stator assembly. check that the contacts between the motor harness and connector in the main PWB assembly if they are bad or unstable. Check that the motor harness between the stator and main PWB is not cut or damaged. and check the hall sensor to make sure that it is good.
